Caramel Egg

Creamy chocolate ice cream with a caramel filling

Ostara, the Mother of Spring, was delighted when her old friends Freyja, the Goddess of Magic and Idun, the Goddess of Youth arrived at her hall. It was the day of the fourth full moon of the year when Ostara's worshipers painted eggs in bright colors and hid them for children to find. Upon seeing the popularity of "Ostara Day," Idun proposed they carry the tradition back to Scandinavia while Freyja, who was also the Goddess of Desire, suggested that their eggs be made of chocolate and filled with caramel. After the festival, the Goddesses returned to Asgard and introduced the 'caramel egg,' which instantly increased the number of worshipers tenfold.
